ProvidenceMidnight is just a few minutes away, and so it's time to launch a new Magic Monday. Ask me anything about occultism, and with certain exceptions noted below, any question received by midnight Monday Eastern time will get an answer. Please note:  Any question or comment received after then will not get an answer, and in fact will just be deleted.  If you're in a hurry, or suspect you may be the 143,916th person to ask a question, please check out the very rough version 1.1 of The Magic Monday FAQ here

Also:
I will not be putting through or answering any more questions about practicing magic around children. I've answered those in simple declarative sentences in the FAQ. If you read the FAQ and don't think your question has been answered, read it again. If that doesn't help, consider remedial reading classes; yes, it really is as simple and straightforward as the FAQ says.  And further:  I've decided that questions about getting goodies from spirits are also permanently off topic here. The point of occultism is to develop your own capacities, not to try to bully or wheedle other beings into doing things for you. I've discussed this in a post on my blog.

The
image? I field a lot of questions about my books these days, so I've decided to do little capsule summaries of them here, one per week. As I mentioned last week, once I found a publisher willing to bring out my fiction, a lot of it found its way into print in a hurry, so we're going to be in tentacle territory for a while now.  This was my fifty-first published book, the fifth volume in The Weird of Hali and the only book in that series that takes place in a town that actually exists. Yes, that would be Providence, Rhode Island, across the Seekonk River from where I live now. I had the chance to visit partway through the process of writing the story, which was helpful, and also has a lot to do with why I live in Rhode Island these days. I used a mashup of H.P. Lovecraft's Providence stories as the raw material, so we get to find out what Charles Dexter Ward was really up to.

One of the entertaining features of these novels is that I kept on having to come up with new, colorful ways to do in the villains. It's Lovecraftian fiction, right? They can't just die in some bland ordinary way, like being shot. This one borrowed one cause of death from Lovecraft himself and another from Arthur Machen, one of the writers Lovecraft admired most, whose writing I appreciate and whose thinking annoys the bejesus out of me. I thought they both worked tolerably well. If that sounds entertaining, why, you can get a copy here if you're in the US and here if you're elsewhere.

I've had several people ask about tipping me for answers here, and though I certainly don't require that I won't turn it down. You can use either of the links above to access my online tip jar; Buymeacoffee is good for small tips, Ko-Fi is better for larger ones. (I used to use PayPal but they developed an allergy to free speech, so I've developed an allergy to them.) If you're interested in political and economic astrology, or simply prefer to use a subscription service to support your favorite authors, you can find my Patreon page here and my SubscribeStar page here.

Bookshop logoI've also had quite a few people over the years ask me where they should buy my books, and here's the answer. Bookshop.org is an alternative online bookstore that supports local bookstores and authors, which a certain gargantuan corporation doesn't, and I have a shop there, which you can check out here. Please consider patronizing it if you'd like to purchase any of my books online.

And don't forget to look up your Pangalactic New Age Soul Signature at CosmicOom.com.

With that said, have at it!

***This Magic Monday is now closed, and no further comments will be put through. See you next week -- and in the meantime, if you're a US citizen and haven't done so already, VOTE.***

Good Evening,

For those of you in the US, whatever the outcome this Tuesday (or this week, or in a few months...), may any craziness pass you by and you find fulfilling ways forward for you and yours.

To Share: Some time ago, [personal profile] open_space recommended I read How to Pray the Rosary and Get Reuslts by Brother ADA, and I've finally done so and written my thoughts up on it: https://jpowellrussell.com/#book_thoughts_on_how_to_pray_the_rosary_and_get_results

To Ask: I've recently been revisiting an exercise that tells me to "put my consciousness into X part of my body." I have an extraordinarily hard time feeling like "I" am anywhere except behind my eyes. Other than "keep practicing!" do you, JMG, or anyone in the commentariat have any tips on how to get better at this kind of thing?

Thank you again, JMG and everyone here!

My blessings to all who welcome them,
Jeff

Applied Cryptid Radionics

Is there a difference between etheric energy from humans and etheric energy from other sources?

I've been re-reading your dreamwidth series on radionics that mentioned earth pipes for introducing life force to the ground for crop growth, Leyden jars for concentrating and storing life force, and devices such as the Hieronymus Machine that seem to be able to manipulate the life force's compatibility with various tasks.

The inner Weird Tales author in me notices that there are several classes of cryptids such as vampires, succubi, and even ordinary humans who feed on the life force of other people for various reasons. I'm wondering whether the various classes of energy pests are obligated to make a nuisance of themselves preying on people or whether a mad scientist might be able to do something like attach an earth pipe to a Hieronymus Machine, probably in the presence of a standing stone to introduce the solar force to the area and guard against depletion, and let well behaved energy pests feed off of the resultant life energy in return for good behavior.

My neighbour recently came to tell me that they are selling their house. I'd love to do a planetary working of some sort for good neighbours to take their place. I've worked really well with venus in the past and would usually offer the orphyic hymn and candle on 6 consecutive Fridays at the hour of venus, followed by prayer and thanks. However, for reasons out of my control, I can't commit to 6 week straight at the moment. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for shortening the timeline for the working without offending venus?

Peanut the squirrel

Date: 2024-11-04 06:27 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Okay JMG, I hope you agree this question is appropriate for Magic Monday, first the backstory:

If you haven’t heard of Peanut the Squirrel and Fred the Raccoon, you’ve been under a rock for the last 24 hours.

Peanut was rescued at age 5 weeks when his mother was killed by a car. A man named Mark Luongo, who now runs a licensed animal rescue shelter in NY state, saved and nursed him. Mark eventually tried to re-introduce Peanut back to the wild, but Peanut couldn’t hack it, so Mark took Peanut into his home as a house pet where he thrived. (I understand a similar story applies for Fred the Raccoon). Peanut became an internet sensation, with an Instagram account of seven million (?!?!) followers, becoming a mascot who served as a fund-raising dynamo for the animal shelter. There are numerous vids of Peanut’s playful, affectionate antics; they are really touching. This went on for 7 years!

Someone anonymously reported Peanut to health authorities (I’m not clear to me whether it was NY state authorities, Federal authorities, or both), on the grounds that the animals are rabies vectors, so a team of 6-10 agents, a SWAT team I gather, raided Mr. Luongo’s house for 5 hours, seized those pets and euthanized them to “test for rabies”. During the raid, officers demanded to see the immigration papers for Mr. Luongo’s wife!

The internet has gone ballistic with outrage. E.g. it’s made headlines on Zerohedge, see here:

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/rip-my-best-friend-outrage-ensues-after-beloved-rescue-squirrel-seized-ny-euthanized

and that’s just for openers.

This story has gone more viral than anything I can recall.

What I find odd is how this ties in to (and even flips?) attitudes about Trump vs the Democratic Party. Here is a sample of commentary:

“Avenge Peanut. Vote for Trump”
“This is what tyranny looks like”
“Peanut should have identified as a Venezuelan gang member, he would
have [been] let go immediately”

“ ‘This is how John Wick started…'. Exactly. FAFO”
“Yes this is when you know the nanny state has gone insane.”
“Government overreach has gotten so crazy, now we need Trump to protect the squirrels. This is NUTS”
“I hope this blows up enough for Trump and Vance to get word of it
and speak out on it. This really highlights the clown show that
NY is right now.”
“Justice for Peanut 🇺🇸 . Vote Trump.”
“Blame the democratic policies”
“One more reason to vote Trump, protect the pets.”
“This story is the best expose of who we are dealing with.”
“I never voted red. I did yesterday”
“Thank Kamala and her goons”
“I hope Trump hears about this and makes one Epic meme out of it!”
“When a pet squirrel and Raccoon [are viewed] more of a threat than
Venezuelan gangs.”

“I hope this tragic story opens people’s eyes.
I have lived in a communist country and this is how they
behaved. They will not just take away your pets, but they will
take everything you have including the people in your family.
Vote them out and take back your control before it is too late.”

“JE SUIS PEANUT”
“Democrats killed Peanut”
“They should have said squirrel identifies as undocumented migrant.”
“It's what the party of tolerance and joy is all about”

“If they will kill a squirrel to test for rabies, what will prevent
them from killing people to test for COVID?”

“sad, but perhaps the last straw that breaks the camels back & makes
the difference in the election. how ironic if it were to be”

"I fear that all that we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and
fill him with a terrible resolve".

There’s a cartoon graphic at the top of this link, maybe you can post it JMG.
https://x.com/TheChiefNerd/status/1852740872250548431

And I just read a report/rumor that the Trump campaign plans a meeting soon with Mark Luongo.

This whole scenario wouldn’t make credible fiction. Yet here we are. Could it be a psyop to distract attention from Israel’s military activities in Gaza and Lebanon?

So JMG, there has to be some occult factor in all this; What’s your take? Also, what do you think this may portend?

On the Design Of Internet Iconography

Date: 2024-11-04 09:17 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Hi JMG,

I'm planning to expand my Internet presence to spread the word about my creative projects. Part of this process is designing logos and other branding graphics, to be used as avatars on various sites. Is there a divination approach you think would be particularly effective at determining the quality of the resonance a given image has with my intentions? My intention is for the chosen images to help draw the attention of interested people and to clarify the ideas I'm communicating. Choosing the day and hour of Mercury to do the work is one obvious step.

And a second, related question. I've heard from a few places commentary about the differing tastes of people on the political left and right when it comes to Internet personae. The general gist is that left-wing people tend to choose avatars and images that are intended to represent their identities or their desired identities, while right-wing people tend to choose a persona that represents some abstract idea they feel an affinity for. There's been considerable discussion of the psychological dimensions of these choices, but what do you see as the astral and energetic repercussions of people choosing to represent themselves in these ways?

For example, people in the transgender and/or furry communities, which skew heavily left-wing, have a strong tendency to create a character to represent themselves, commission artwork of the character and use it as their avatar in every possible venue. Others who aren't so dedicated may choose one or more characters from popular culture and use their images as avatars. Left-wing people who aren't so strongly tied to media fandoms still often seem to want to project a strong, consistent sense of identity when online, like with AI caricatures of themselves.

People on the right seem more likely to use something like an image of Rome burning or a planet that resembles a clown head (for "clown world") as their avatar on social media, and also to use a variety of images at different times and places depending on what they're currently thinking about as opposed to carefully maintaining a consistent persona. It seems to me that these tendencies reflect on people associating with and drawing power from egregores in different ways. Is there anything you see as particularly notable about these two types of energetic association?

Thanks as usual for these posts.

Hi JMG,
I've been studying the DMH system for about a year and a half. Of course that means I've got a long way to go yet, and that's fine. My problem is that I am rubbish with using the Ogham for daily divination. I'd say I get an actionable reading maybe 1/3 to 1/2 the time. However, if I ask a specific question (e.g. "what will be the consequences of this working"), then my understanding is much better.
I've done several cycles of discursive meditation with the ogham. Any advice?

I’ve wondered for a while given how closely the endocrine glands seem to be related to the energy centres, if it is possible to attain different spiritual states by deliberately altering hormones, and if some of the weird lifestyles that certain spiritual paths require or encourage are intentional efforts to adjust hormone levels (admittedly, likely without always knowing that this is why the practices work). I think I might have found one of these: namely, a lot of the habits of monks around the world seem to be designed to force insulin levels down to unnaturally low levels.

The reason I’m looking into this is because I recently realized I was likely either diabetic or fast heading that way, and decided I wanted to use a set of lifestyle changes to fix things rather than deal with the medical system. Type II diabetes, the form I was developing, is a disease with a pretty well understood cause: insulin is forced up to such unnaturally high levels for long enough that the body loses the ability to function properly. Certain tissues stop responding properly, which forces the hormone level up further, which causes a host of issues if that positive feedback loop is not broken. The obvious solution then was to use lifestyle changes to force insulin down, hard, in order to give my body a chance to bring insulin levels back into the normal range. I was surprised at how much of that was essentially “Live like a monk”.

Insulin is secreted mostly in response to blood sugar, which can be forced down by fasting, both over the course of a day and over longer time periods, and by eating smaller, lighter meals. The habit in many monasteries of eating only once or twice a day, and also the habit of regular extended fasting is in fact one of the major ways known to hack insulin and push it down. Insulin levels also depend on sensitivity of liver tissues and muscles, and thus on how much food is being eaten in one sitting (which the liver has to process) and the amount of moderate aerobic exercise (which causes muscles to burn glucose they then replenish when given the chance). The common European monastic habits of doing hard physical labor, or the Indian monastics who walk from city to city, deplete the muscles, and make them far more sensitive to insulin. Avoiding sweet foods, especially paired with simple, lighter meals, another common monastic habit also keeps insulin down by means of keeping pulses of food, especially sugar, out of the system, thus reducing how high it ever needs to go, a key factor in keeping the liver able to process blood sugar.

The liver is also affected by essentially all mind altering substances, and cannot absorb nearly as much sugar when it is breaking them down, and thus the near universal monastic habit of limiting them makes perfect sense in this light; while two which are commonly used as spiritual aids, caffeine and nicotine, both push insulin down despite this: caffeine by boosting metabolism, nicotine by suppressing appetite enough to reduce reduce either food intake or the normal cues to conserve energy, or in some cases both. (Tobacco was marketed as a weight loss drug for quite a while as a result)

While it does not contain much sugar as a general rule, meat also triggers insulin, because it contains certain amino acids that that the body uses as a cue for protein consumption; with protein being converted into sugar when consumed in levels beyond the modest amount needed for protein synthesis, this insulin trigger helps manage blood sugar levels when the protein is converted into glucose. Vegetarian sources of protein do not contain these in the same quantities, and so they do not trigger nearly as strong an insulin response. Once more, monasteries all over the world tend to encourage vegetarian diets, no matter what the normal diet of their community is.

There are also at least a half dozen other common monastic habits (ranging from exposure to the elements to waking before dawn for prayer) that seem designed to help with lowering insulin levels; but at this point this is already quite a long comment, so I'm going to leave them out.

a) Do you think it’s possible that there is something to this idea of monkish habits being a means of accessing certain spiritual states by means of intentionally pushing insulin down to unusually low levels?

b) If forcing insulin down to unnaturally low levels is part of what makes monastic environments so powerful for spirituality, then do you think it’s also possible that part of the reason that Americans seem so spiritually dull compared to other societies, both historically and in other nations, might be related to this? If I wanted to force insulin up as high as possible I’m not sure I could do a better job than the standard American lifestyle; it’s a strong enough trend, and this sort of high insulin is damaging enough to human health, I’ve come to suspect it might actually be intentional as a means of ensuring profits for the medical industry...

In a recent comment you posted a link to your ADR posts on religious sensibility. I haven't read all of them yet, but it helped me to realize that a culture's core assumptions shape their religious beliefs and practices, which one might otherwise believe are based on a absolute, fixed 'truth'. You used the example of how religions like Christianity and Buddhism are focused on salvation, which is due to their own religious sensibility.

At the beginning of Dion Fortune's The Training and Work of an Initiate, she stated that the goal of western occultism is union with the Higher Self. Do you think that statement is more to do with her own Christian beliefs, and/or that western occultism is also focused on salvation in its own way? Or is the work of union with the Higher Self something overarching, and that a civilization's religious sensibility is just their own particular way of handling that work or how it thinks about that work?

The reason I ask is because the Higher Self seems like it is anatomical, you have a Higher Self in the same way that you have a mouth or arms, and so it isn't an idea to agree with or not. Hm, have I just answered my own question?

I had a very alarming encounter with I suppose, intrusive thoughts recently.

I was doing a stove seasoning of my carbon steel wok, when my wife, who I note is normally a sensible and level headed person without any known mental conditions, came up and gave me a hug. Then she got a little glazed over, and reached for the middle of the smoking pan with an "i want to touch it..." I slapped her hand away with a NO! and she looked shocked, and asked why??, to which I did the water splash test with the beads of water skipping about. Then she wandered off.

This really scared me, and I was wondering if this was a spiritual problem with a spiritual remedy?

I don't really know what to ask about this. Probably I've just been influenced by discussion about dreams and odd dreamwords on Ecosophia. And this is my offering to it.

In my dream there were three tiny white rabbits, approximately 10cm, and they told me to pay attention to a Greek myth about success by a good person and a bad person. When I woke up I was remembering a word: antiklythera. I expected it to be greekish nonsense, but to my surprise google translated it to oppositely, and when I tested klythera I got coolly as translation. I don't understand the logic how anti coolly is oppositely, I don't even know if the translations are correct, google translate can give very odd answers.

Hi John. I really enjoy your astrology reports. Your recent comet analysis prompted the question, and I am not being flippant: are there any events in mundane astrology that are benefic? Comets and eclipses both being malefic... I know there are good aspects and such, just curious if there are specific benefic omens. I guess the ancient astrologers were looking for harbingers they needed to protect against.

Good morning Sir and Druid,

When reading a Tarot spread for someone else, from what direction are the upright or reversed orientation of the cards supposed to be read from, the reader's perspective or from the client's perspective?

I encountered this question while teaching someone at a bookstore who just bought their first Tarot deck. I taught them using the 3 card Ogham readings that kimberlysteele does as an example.

My hasty answer was to consider both upright and reversed meanings from the LWB as being in play, and seek to consciously balance the two extremes of the interpretation if one extreme begins to crop up. In addition, to meditate on the imagery of each card in the manner of Eliphas Levi (superficially, critically, integrally), and read the whole spread like a picture book tapestry.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be more evil in the air the past few days? If others are noticing it too then naturally I would suspect it has something to do with the election tomorrow.

I kind of thought that the next book in the Hali series might have been set in a real place too, to the extent that the Providence in the fifth book might be considered real. Although I think many people might just consider the place that the sixth book is set in to simply be a state of mind. 😉

The Galaxy Song and the human condition

Had completely forgotten that The Galaxy Song (Monty Python - Meaning of life) does a nice job of describing the human condition.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=buqtdpuZxvk

When one actually thinks about how 'small' we appear to be in this form, it is difficult not to laugh.
Have been playing with 'laughter' as a tool to switch energy/emotional states - not laughing at just anything or anyone, but at myself.
The 'laughter' does not have to express itself out loud, but can. It got me thinking about the term 'belly laugh' and how cathartic a good honest laugh can be, in conjunction with the ideas of activating the solar plexus / naval centres.
Anyway, it occurred to me that the physical movements involved in laughing fit in rather well.

But there do seem to be different types of laughter; from cackling hyena to glorious realization; as from the devilish and animalistic though to human and angelic.

I've seen the concept of laughter disparaged and looked down on and also praised.

I've found the nature of certain kinds of 'laughter' to be powerful in banishing unwanted states.

From your studies do you know of any treatments of the idea of laughter that look at the physical action relating to the energy centres?

Q

From: (Anonymous)
Greetings!

You had said this recently:

"From within the occult teachings I mostly work with, the elementals and nature spirits are "creations of the created," in Dion Fortune's phrase -- they were created by the soul-swarms before ours (the elementals by the Lords of Flame, the nature spirits by the Lords of Form) and have no direct contact with the Divine. One of the tasks of our soul-swarm, at and above the human level, is to reintegrate the elementals and make it possible for them to evolve; that's why some initiatory traditions (Rosicrucian and Druid in particular) have close relationships with the elemental kingdoms and work with them in magic and other forms of operative occultism. The reintegration of the nature spirits will be the work of a soul-swarm following ours."

1) Could you discuss this more? How and why were they created, what their roles are etc?

2) Is it possible that we are similarly trying to create some type of artificial machine intelligence? Curious what your thoughts are on that.

Additional Resources for Celtic Golden Dawn?

Hi, JMG!

I recently started in your Celtic Golden Dawn curriculum. Though I am making progress in meditation and learning the LRP, I am not ready to move past the contents of the First Knowledge Lecture.

Would it be beneficial to delve into some occult philosophy at this stage, and if so, what books would you recommend?

Please bear with me; I am trying to keep this concise without leaving too much out.

My husband and I have both been sensing a malicious, incorporeal entity periodically around our home for the last several years. We have had a couple of more or less direct encounters, during which one of us have driven it away (mostly just through rejecting it/telling it to leave/pushing it away energetically, and/or praying). However, it seems to return periodically. Neither of us get a sense that it wants anything in particular from us that we can discern. It feels to my husband less like a powerful danger and more like a nuisance he wants to swat away; he described its energy as unpleasant and discordant. Provided that we are in fact encountering the same entity, it feels more dangerous to me, and seems to be a demon if my dream encounter can be trusted. Visually, it appeared to my husband once as something like a vividly colored butterfly whose wings were eyes, but usually we encounter it in dream or as a sensed (but not seen) presence while waking late at night.

We have only felt it at night, after bedtime, until (maybe) yesterday. Yesterday evening after supper we were discussing the entity and what to do about it. We suspect that it might be involved in a persistent state of pessimism, negative emotion, and volatile mood that my husband has been experiencing. We both then felt a weird sort of subtle fog fill our kitchen. It didn’t feel particularly malicious or horrible, but it did feel as if it were muffling and depressing our subtle energies and senses. We did not distinctly sense the entity itself, only the fog. I then started gathering some condition oils and spiritual supplies to try to deal with the entity (unfortunately I’ve been pregnant or nursing the whole time it’s been around, and my husband doesn’t practice magic, so ritual magic has been out). At that point, my daughter, who just turned two, ran into the other room, suffered a bad fall, and gashed her head open on something we can’t identify and ended up in the emergency room. My intuition is that the accident had something to do with the entity and/or the fog, perhaps as a reaction to my preparing to try to drive it away, but she is a toddler and does fall all the time, so it may be coincidence.

I also suspect that this might have something to do with my cousin (who is also our neighbor) with whom we have been embroiled in a conflict over land and now a lawsuit for the last few years (hopefully the lawsuit is about to wrap up). My cousin is full of resentment and rage and having weird mental episodes (he accused me of sneaking into his house and breaking his dishes, for instance, and of hacking his video doorbell, and he occasionally sends vicious screeds that reveal obsessive resentment over old and nonsensical grievances, and he occasionally destroys some of our property in a rage). I suspect that my cousin is in the grip of demonic obsession, and I wonder if the maybe-demon keeps coming around us because of this unfortunate link between us and my cousin.

To very broadly summarize, we’ve tried prayer, positive visualization/affirmation, natural magic for healing/blessing/cleansing, and energy healing. Happy to give more deatails. This seemed to be keeping it at bay, but if the fog and accident are related, this seems like an escalation. Other than renewing and doubling down on these efforts, I would very much welcome any insights or suggestions that might help clarify or resolve this situation.

I say this with total sincerity and obviously without knowing the particulars of your situation but: can you move? How is this property worth it? Entity aside, your cousin sounds extremely dangerous. I wonder what his reaction will be if he loses this lawsuit.

Divination or wishful thinking?

This is something that has plagued me as a diviner. What is actually a prophecy and what is wishful thinking?

I am usually pretty accurate in my dreams. The only problem is political ones, which seem more connected to the people around me.

Even since Trump Buddha has entered our home, our family has been made great again. We have turned a corner and are actually happy.

At the same time, I have been having Trump victory dreams -- several, with the last one last night. Meanwhile, the news shows are all predicting a Harris victory or movement toward that. I did watch both rallies from Harris and Trump, and found the people were focused on very different things. Night and day, sort of difference. I couldn't feel any new information to change my dreams.

Meanwhile, Mothman has been more insistent on being disruptive and has brought friends into the mix. Sort of other dimensional beings ready to mix it up and totally disrupt the status quo.

And yes, I have journaled this and meditated on it. Now, I am going crazy with the insistence of a Trump victory - in my brain, which lives outside of time.

So I am asking for a third opinion - is this wishful thinking or an actual prophecy?

MOE Healing Hands

Thanks to all who signed up last week, I was able to get to everyone. If you'd like to sign up again please let me know.

For the rest of the community, I'm offering Modern Order of Essenes healing hands--an at-a-distance spiritual healing technique--to anyone who needs phsycial or emotional well-being. All you have to do is sign up by replying to this message or PM'ing me.

To MOE Practitioners:

I am experimenting on myself with a mode of healing hands and I wanted to share it with others because it might be useful to you, and outside feedback will help me determine if it works or not. I wanted to get some Carnelian energy for myself after a few synchronicities and a positive divination, so I meditated with my stone, and later came up with the idea of simply holding it in my left hand over the receptive healing center and doing healing hands. The normal healing hand energy is at work, but theoretically it passes through the stone (herb, metal, whatever) like a lens, picking up some of that energy as well. It felt good this morning, no side effects yet. If you try it, let me know what you think.

FYI for the requestors I get I am still only doing normal healing hands, no intermediate stones or herbs. You will get the tried and true method.

I’ve experimented with something similar last year with positive results-in my case I held a lava stone from my altar (Elementally charged during the appropriate time of year) in my right hand while performing a long distance healing hands for a friend. (She was performing a ritual to manifest some positive circumstances and energy and clear out some negative energy.)

Sort of the inverse of what you’re experimenting with, I hope your work progresses well!

Polytheist Pagans in the Piscean Era

I don't have past life memories but I have no idea how I've lived all my human lives in the dogmatic and monotheist Piscean Era. I certainly wish I'd spent past lives studying under the ancient druids or being initiated into the temple cults of ancient Greece, but that was a long time ago so it likely isn't the case.

Do you have a sense from your past lives and those of others as to what the souls who preferred polytheism did for the last two thousand years? My only guess is I must have been reading Greek mythology and secretly praying to the gods while allowing everyone to assume I'm a Christian for my own safety. Thanks.
