It's getting on for midnight, so we can proceed with a new Magic Monday. Ask me anything about occultism and I'll do my best to answer it. With certain exceptions, any question received by midnight Monday Eastern time will get an answer. Please note: Any question received after then will not get an answer, and in fact will just be deleted. I've been getting an increasing number of people trying to post after these are closed, so will have to draw a harder line than before.) Also: I will not be putting through or answering any more questions about practicing magic around children. I've answered those in simple declarative sentences in the FAQ. If that doesn't help, consider remedial reading classes; yes, it really is as simple and straightforward as the FAQ says. The image? I've decided to do another pass through magical personalities, and I figured I'd start with one of my own teachers. This is John Gilbert, with whom I studied the teachings of the Universal Gnostic Church, the Order of Spiritual Alchemy, the Modern Order of Essenes, and the Magickal Order of the Golden Dawn -- this last, of course, is the parent body of the Fellowship of the Hermetic Rose. This photo was taken in 2008 in eastern Tennessee at a Druid event there; it was the last time John and I met in person, though we corresponded via email and talked on the phone quite a bit after that.

Best time to accept a job

What is the best time for accepting a job formally (I assume nowadays in Zoom/online times is when you click on the button in the online internal system). You only get there after you've talked to HR on the phone and such
I was thinking planetary day & hour of Jupiter, try to do it during Aquisitio
if it's too far away, then anyday of the week during Aquisitio?
What do you think?

Date: 2022-08-08 08:55 pm (UTC)The job is a data analyst role. Hence I thought first Mercury. Also, if it makes any difference I just got a Mercury Talisman to help with jobs (cannot get anything else because I'm Libra)
But then I thought Jupiter, because it's Aquisitio related, and I've had better results applying for jobs during Aquisitio/Thursdays.
Regarding 'expect to relate to people' / 'interactions'
I've been in very toxic/bad environments at work in my last 2 jobs. The first one was the worst, so bad that I left the field/career and went into data.
The last one, was backstabbing and very politically correct spineless crowd, but it seems that is the new normal in office environments nowadays. I'm normally very quiet and just want to do my job.
What I would wish is a good, supportive, positive environment. If I cannot have that, then I'd wish just plain business only type of interactions.
To be honest, I'm probably an undiagnosed autistic person, just faking it all this time. It's too late for me to do anything about it or to change career once again, I just need to try and cope the best I can.
Another question for you...have you ever heard of a situation where the sign of the person is 'broken'. As a Libra by default I should be great with relationships, women, etc., but it's almost as if all of that is upside down... Do you think that a Talisman of Venus would help?

This notion that because you're a Libra, this and that and the other thing must be true of you -- that's nonsense. Not your fault, since it's been splashed through the media, but it's garbage. You need to understand your entire natal chart in order to get a sense of your strengths and weaknesses. If you can, find a good natal astrologer and get a full chart delineation done -- you'll be glad you did.
