1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.
2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.
3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.
4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.
With that said, as the vaccinated keep catching Covid (and many of them never quite seem to get over it) while the rest of us are fine, the floor is open for discussion.
Shanghai is weird
Date: 2022-04-12 10:30 pm (UTC)This time around it's Shanghai. We don't know where the videos come from, or what the motives behind them are .
China's official stats are: "Shanghai on Monday (11 Apr) registered the highest daily infections in the mainland with 994 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and 22,348 asymptomatic carriers reported. But it was the first time that the number of daily new asymptomatic infections had decreased this month."
To put that into perspective, the UK is running at ~75,000 new infections per day and the Shanghai region's population is about half of the UK. Current reports say about 1 in 13 people in the UK have COVID at any one time i.e. collectively they're sick as hell.
Given that the vaxxed have damaged immune systems and the boosted are worse, each new variant/reinfection is going to whack them harder aka 'chronic COVID'. That's leaving out the impact of the apocalyptic predictions from Geert van den Bossche et al.
So at this stage it looks like Shanghai is another scare campaign. Maybe it's to justify more lockdowns. Remember lockdowns are effective at reducing energy consumption and with every passing month we're energetically more in trouble and the Ukraine thing has only accelerated the problems and shortfalls.
Re: Shanghai is weird
Date: 2022-04-13 09:10 am (UTC)But yeah, here in the U.S. they approve the 4th shot two weeks ago and now cases are climbing and calls for masking are back. How many times do we need to go through tis cycle until the dum-dums get it? Get a covid vax and get covid within two weeks. No one actually knows what is in those shots, it hasn't been verified outside the manufacturers, right? For all we know they are injecting people with covid itself. Other vaccines are actual weakened versions of those diseases and yes I know this one is supposed to be some kind of super whiz bang mRNA, but what if it isn't?
