But maybe not so tough this time-- Europe is looking at freezing next winter, dramatically higher costs for all fossil fuels, spikes in food prices, and outright food shortages due to a lack of fertilizer and other inputs.
The US is looking at much the same thing, perhaps not freezing because of no gas, but freezing because gas is so insanely expensive.
