Howdy Sr Spaniard! Gracias for posting. This is so similar to the European country where I live, in that covid-related rules are constantly subject to change, and whatever rhyme or reason there might be seems to be floating around out there in random whiffles.
I note from the website you linked to that:
"As for recovery certificates, the authorities have explained that the document is accepted as long as it proves that the holder has tested positive with the virus within the last 180 days.
"In contrast to arrivals from risk areas, travellers entering Spain from a third country placed on the safe list do not need to present a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test result upon entry. Spain’s safe list currently includes Colombia, Indonesia, Peru, Qatar, Rwanda, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China (including Hong Kong and Macau), and Taiwan."

I'd say the take-home lesson from the last 2 years is, don't plan on anything that will break your heart or your wallet to have to cancel-- unless, I guess, you're crackerjack with the astrology and/or geomancy!
