Okay, now I think I more or less get it. "Positive" and "negative" are very blunt instruments when it comes to any divination system -- Amissio, for example, is very positive for questions relating to health and love, and negative for anything involving property or wealth.
As for the answer you got, well, that's a good question I can't answer off the top of my head. I suppose it would be a bit much for me to suggest that you cast a divination about it... ;-)
