One of my readers -- hat tip to Kyle -- suggested that those of my readers who have Dreamwidth journals might post links to them, with a note or two about what they like to talk about, with an eye toward making connections. That struck me as a good idea, so here's the place to do it. If you've got a Dreamwidth journal, post a comment with a link and whatever you'd like to say about it -- and then we can let the conversations begin.

In terms of themes, I write about my interests in religion, history, philosophy, occultism, magic, ethics and reflect on my experiences through the lens of these various disciplines. At times I publish fiction here as well and have even posted the script to a full length original musical with all the songs sourced from the public domain. My last post is a visual geometric proof for he creation of a regular pyramid of circles connected through their vesica piscis. That is to say, the blog covers a lot of ground and functions as my travel diary through intellectual adventures!

I've been seeing your name all over the covers of several recent publications as a contributing author, and just wanted to say congrats! Your plans seem to be moving right along. A fine example of focused magical work and intention.

For now, I'm just interesting in keeping tabs on all the glorious projects and experiments I've heard readers mention recently. If you're writing about them in your journal, please share a link. I'd love to read.

Here is a link to my journal. There is not much in there yet but from what is and what I am editing to post I like to talk about the lessons from a magical education while I go through it, the musings that go with it like the effects of getting human needs like meaningful lives, awe and connectedness from the human-centric simulacrum of Nature most of our society runs on, that is, how madness plays out; upcoming Occult Fever some lessons about how to avoid the common pitfalls of the shock of realizing there are forces that shape our actions and are not after us (except for eldritch and rugose entities, of course) as well as how to place this new perspective in ways that don't lead to embarrassments like the Magic Resistance or deliriums of grandeur believing you are the baddest daughter of a gun out there; and the Tarot --how to approach a reading successfully and get the most out of it as well as offering free Tarot readings the last week of every month starting on Tuesday.

On the journal I have recently started to offer Coelbren readings and have shared a few short thoughts on occultish topics with more to come.
As I get into my Astrological Magic course I expect I will be posting more about that experience, too. Hopefully, some folks are out there willing to let me practice my developing astrological skills with them.
Most of all I am looking forward to making connections with folks interested in connecting.

The Lansing Method and an Ogham Version of Mundane Astrology
What might be of more general interest is the underlying technique I use to generate those charts, which I've been calling the Lansing method. It allows for empty positions in divination spreads and for symbols to appear in multiple places. Astrology was the underlying inspiration for it, since (unlike in a typical closed-set divination spread) houses can be empty. https://gbejm.dreamwidth.org/274.html is my detailed post on the process.

This is Steve T. My Dreamwidth journal is called Read Old Things, and is dedicated to studying older texts. A few months back I started a series of Daily Reflections on themes from various older works, starting with an exploration of Stoic literature. I'm currently working my way through Sun Tzu's Art of War a few verses at a time.
I have another Dreamwidth dedicated to mundane astrology called Vox Caelorum, voxcaelorum.dreamwidth.org. It doesn't get updated as often, but I put up an interpretation of the Spring Ingress yesterday. I plan on expanding it at some point in the near future to be a general astrology blog.

I blog on no particular schedule at https://temporaryreality.dreamwidth.org/. I'm eclectic (see my avatar, it's not a random image, I do wander about) though all my posts revolve around certain themes, generally from a personal perspective: gardening (edible, medicinal, etc.), meditations inspired by The Cosmic Doctrine or other readings, skills development, self-cultivation (newbie-Druidry, trivium-inspired education, creativity, divination, whatnot).

For note, I'm the publisher and editor of the recently defunct Into the Ruins, a deindustrial science fiction quarterly; I've been published in Vintage Worlds 2; I still am hoping at some point to more fully launch Figuration Press into a real publishing project; and I've been haunting JMG's blogs and writing my own for quite a number of years now.
Now I'll go subscribe to the other journals here. Lots of good reading about!
Thanks JMG!

I’m not honestly sure if it is of interest to anyone besides myself. Just reflections and thoughts on tai chi, the Essenes, books I’m reading, that sort of thing.
I started it a few weeks ago and have been making a goal of posting daily.

With Dreamwidth journals, you can generally click on the username and see if they have a journal. I have found some fun ones that way! Mine's just... a journal. This and that. Garden stuff. Pictures of bees. Wee bit of fiction.
This entry: https://methylethyl.dreamwidth.org/4655.html is a tongue-in-cheek, Retrotopia-flavored response to someone asking "What is this country even going to look like in five years, if lockdowns are the new normal??"
I recommend Violet's and Kimberly's journals-- they are always good.
Sothis Medias
In lieu of the dreamwidth account, and one of the reasons I stopped posting there was that I have a free monthly email webzine called "Seeds from Sirius" where I cover the subjects of shortwave & FM community radio and pirate radio scenes, deindustrial fiction, magic, music, and all with an article exclusive to the newsletter each month. I also have a monthly contest giveaway. Last month it as the "Love in the Ruins" anthology, this month it was the "Imaginational Anthems" 3 CD box set of American Primitive instrumental acoustic guitar music (in the vein of John Fahey, Robbie Basho, Sandy Bull, et. al. and indeed includes tracks from them). The monthly contest giveaways are all either books, music (physical CDs, maybe vinyl some day), and magazines.
The introductory essays for each Seeds from Sirius issue take inspiration from the format and "out there" style of the Church of the Subgenius, Negativland's Over the Edge radio show, Discordianism, Robert Anton Wilson, Thee Temple ov Psychic Youth, and the gonzo style crackpot zines of yesteryear. Sirius, while also being funny is the aim!

"Seeds from Sirius, is your chance to be entertained and informed while staying abreast of the new developments being cooked up inside the library and laboratory at our research center. This format allows us to approach you with concepts that do not necessarily fit within the scope of our other Media outlets. With these dreamed, found, salvaged and retrofitted briefings, we hope to give readers recondite access to what we have been researching, listening too, reading and thinking. Some material will be provided by our Celestial Intelligence Agents out in the field. Each transmission will include the astral seed-form-patterns of what we have been building. We hope these seeds will inspire new ideas and provide an overall benefit to your day, bringing the stellar light of Sirius into your inbox with each epistolary missive. "

I'm American and I mostly blog about spirituality, philosophy, religion, occultism, history, and very occasionally politics (not the partisan screeching variety). As of late, I've delved into a thought experiment on the concept of creating my own religion-of-one, 'Nuemenism'... which is a 'religion' to represent my own peculiar viewpoint on metaphysical issues and religious praxis, with zero expectation of anyone besides myself affiliating with this religious label. This ties into my broader interest/obsession on how various religions, philosophies, and ideologies will adapt to the Age of Aquarius we've now lurched our way into.
Anyone reading this, please feel free to add me and I will add back.
Homeopathy, Trinitary Christianism and more
Originally, it started as a place were I could put interesting but half baked ideas about Homeopathy, which I was studying at the time. I still intend to write about that, but in order to avoid falling into a writer's block induced hiatus I will just write about whatever feels appropriate. At the time being, I am translating the Trisagion to the Holy Trinity. After that I intend to continue writing about cell salts, specifically about the Kali (Chlorine) family.

My Journal
So far I have mainly posted book reviews. I read and review books on occult topics, mystery stories, true crime, history and fantasy. Or whatever else catches my eye. Lack of access to libraries for the past few months has restricted the range of my reading recently. I have also been distracted by death in my family, sale of family property and moving. But I plan to return to more regular posts. In addition to book reviews I may muse on other topics.

Transcripts and Book Quotes
I provide transcripts of spiritual topics from various videos that have had an impact on me. Sometimes from books as well. Current transcripts are from various Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev talks with a few things interspersed from Master Nan Huai-Chin. Later I'll expand to other teachers.

I am going to start blogging on my spiritual path, on spiritual teachings and figures, gardening/permaculture, offering horary readings (I've started Christopher Warnock's course, so once I get proficient enough to cast them), and updates on the Plant Cunning Podcast.
I've been meaning to start this for a while, but have been busy with other matters, I guess I just have to get started. Thanks JMG for the kick in the pants!

Sadly, truth be told, my DW account is pretty dormant, due to my other main interest for the last 7 years: The Attack Ads! Podcast.
That's where I've been kvetching about advertising in particular and in general, sharing my reading, and trying to inject humor where appropriate… or most inappropriate.
In case you in the magical community think there probably isn't anything in the topic of advertising worth your interest, consider how message repetition affects the mind through meditation and ritual, and then extrapolate the effect of messages so very widely dissemintated….
I read more than I write
I average one entry a year, invariably introspective... I spend much time reading and researching and less writing, since the stimulation gained from other people's ideas and wisdom is more alluring to me than labouring through my own. You may see a comment from me on your blog now and then if I have found you through Ecosophia. Living at a snail's pace I don't subscribe to others' journals, though, as I simply can't keep up. Don't be spooked!
Place of birth and residence: New South Wales, Australia.
Interests: too many to manage. My main activities at present are gardening, reading, a small spiritual practice, dance, research into folk healing methods and attempts at herbal medicine. I am a lagging member but enthusiastic supporter of the Dreamwidth Geomancy group, Conjunctio.
Your questions, everyone, often express problems and matters I struggle to phrase myself, and for this I give my sincere thanks.
I do greatly value the connection among the readers of Mr Greer's blogs: what we share is more important than what I have with most actual personal contacts. I feel it is a real community, on the astral if not the physical. Thank you all.
Ecosophian
I try to maintain the list of all JMG's podcasts and books, which admittedly is very hard to keep up to date because he is very active.
