Meaning the Conservative SCOTUS justices intentionally took on these cases (which had been in the system for quite some time) with the express purpose of "energizing the Democratic base?" Sorry, but to me that doesn't pass the basic logical smell test. This conspiracy theory (yes, that's what it is) would imply those justices are secretly in cahoots with the Democrats.

Utter absurdity.

The main issue I see with this kind of conspiratorial thinking is that is massively overemphasizes the role of human agency and presupposes a unified will of "elites" who all share a hive mind and have the same exact agenda. This mentality begs for a universe where there are no gods, spirits, or cosmic intelligences, just "human elites" who fill that role.

Rather, I think what we're seeing now is a gradual shift in how the unseen forces are influencing our reality.
