The pandemic has been scrubbed from the front pages at this point and replaced by a different hysteria du jour, but the semi-open posts I've hosted here on the Covid-19 narrative, the inadequately tested experimental drugs for it, and the whole cascading mess surrounding them have continued to field a steady stream of comments, so I'm opening yet another space for discussion. The rules are the same as before:

1. If you plan on parroting the party line of the medical industry and its paid shills, please go away. This is a place for people to talk openly, honestly, and freely about their concerns that the party line in question is dangerously flawed and that actions being pushed by the medical industry et al. are causing injury and death. It is not a place for you to dismiss those concerns. Anyone who wants to hear the official story and the arguments in favor of it can find those on hundreds of thousands of websites.

2. If you plan on insisting that the current situation is the result of a deliberate plot by some villainous group of people or other, please go away. There are tens of thousands of websites currently rehashing various conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 outbreak and the vaccines. This is not one of them. What we're exploring is the likelihood that what's going on is the product of the same arrogance, incompetence, and corruption that the medical industry and its tame politicians have displayed so abundantly in recent decades. That possibility deserves a space of its own for discussion, and that's what we're doing here.

3. If you plan on using rent-a-troll derailing or disruption tactics, please go away. I'm quite familiar with the standard tactics used by troll farms to disrupt online forums, and am ready, willing, and able -- and in fact quite eager -- to ban people permanently for engaging in them here. Oh, and I also lurk on other Covid-19 vaccine skeptic blogs, so I'm likely to notice when the same posts are showing up on more than one venue.

4. If you don't believe in treating people with common courtesy, please go away. I have, and enforce, a strict courtesy policy on my blogs and online forums, and this is no exception. The sort of schoolyard bullying that takes place on so many other internet forums will get you deleted and banned here. No, I don't care if you disagree with that: my journal, my rules.

With that said, as the vaccinated keep catching Covid (and many of them never quite seem to get over it) while the rest of us are fine, the floor is open for discussion.

This comment from Coyote Girl seems to be the reason I got out of bed today. I used to take my spiritual pursuits half heartedly, but now I’m staring into the empty eye sockets of a mad civilization’s animated corpse which finally drove home the point “Oh okay, THAT’s why…”

I have been told that I'm doomed as an unvaccinated person:

"The unvaccinated will be be queuing up for ventilators"

"We only had all these lockdowns and rules to give everyone a chance to get vaccinated, and now that almost everyone has, the rules will be lifted and we're going back to normal"

"The unvaccinated knew the risks and now they're going to get their just desserts"

Yes indeed, the vaccinated are relishing the chance to witness the 'blood sacrifice' of all the heretics.

They believe that taking the mark has saved them, and that the rest of us both need and deserve to be sacrificed to maintain their lifestyles. They can't wait for unvaccinated deaths to affirm the rightness of their beliefs and reward their faith.

Not so much a black mass maybe, as a good old Aztec style human sacrifice to appease an insatiably hungry and destructive god.

Well there is the ego (mine loves to be proven righty-right-right-neener-neener right) and there is the heart (mine is greatly pained to see others suffer).

I have an ego, it's a good thing to have, it looks out for me, but it's not in the driver's seat. The heart, which has powers to see beyond the ego, is always, always more important.

It's like, do you want James Dean to be driving the car?

Anyway, I have already seen more than enough to know, in my head and in my heart, that I did the right thing-- both for myself and for others-- to forgo the jabs. So I give my ego a little pat on the head, and a chocolate cookie. I say, good job, eat it quietly now.

Well those who think that way will need a ton of some kind of magick shampoo-loofa combo, to get off that jam.

I think that makes a good analogy too. After all, those ventilators really do get in the way of a good old fashioned wailing and gnashing of teeth.

At least here in the U.S. it looks to me that the PMC suburbanites who make up the covidian portion of the foxxed are too busy genuflecting before the evil garden gnome to worship something as cool as the great feathered serpent.

They can't wait for unvaccinated deaths to affirm the rightness of their beliefs and reward their faith’’ – triggered something in my mind: a scene from The Ten Commandments film (it was screened on TV every single year when I was a kid) where the plague of the Death of the First Born descends upon Egypt and the Israelites cause the plague to “pass over” them with the blood mark on the doors as per God’s direction. Amazingly powerful combination of ominous plot, special visual effects and creepy music! I wonder if most inhabitants of “The West” have internalized this scene and projected it onto you-know-what – as if they are all actors on the Paramount Pictures soundstage circa 1956 in an endless loop for the past two years acting the scene out. Of course, we, the Unfoxed Cursed Egyptians, should be following Cecil B. DeMill’s cue and keel over and die agonizingly while the blighted survivors weep and wail over our folly of not heeding the divinely inspired words of Moses-Fauci. (My apologies to readers of the Abrahamic faiths if you find this at all offensive, as no offence is intended – I am simply commenting on the “Hollywoodization of stories”, not the Bible itself, and its effects on the group-mind.) I firmly believe that as a species we perceive the world through the filter of ‘stories/myths’ and we act them out over and over again throughout the ages. As soon as “the authorities” changed their tune from “flu story” to “plague story” in early 2020, this scene from a classic film got triggered with the expectation that it would manifest. Maybe it’s just me who sees this, but I have felt compelled to ‘put it out there’.

Last time they decided to make a horror film franchise involving sequels to Deep Ventilatortom, exploring themes of bodily consent and "new and super juicy" things, they got Joss Whedon on board.

He made the characters have great quotable quips like he did with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but, as with same, he sucked at the endings, and fortunately someone else chose it for him.
