How important is the planetary rulership part? Would activities that fall under a particular planetary rulership be relatively favored on that planet's day? (As a secondary element, in the context of the number's meaning you gave.)

I've been having a great time with both the daily numbers and the horary numerology, but I've been wondering about that bit in a few cases. I was comparing martial arts schools and got an 8 for one and a 5 for the other, for example, and was thinking about if the Mars rulership might benefit the second.
