My dad fell fell sick a few days ago. I heard that one thing that could be done was to ask a god or a higher being, or simply declare with a truly unified will that you want to take some of the burden of the person on yourself or to give them some of your own energy. I prayed to the virgin mary a few times in the hail mary form and asked her to do that, I felt weirdly purified and elevated but definitly not like I was helping my dad (I actually felt better physically), then, trying to fall asleep,I tried to ask to the universe, with a unified will, that I wanted to take part of his burden.It felt heavy and serious, and I truly meant it, even though I wasnt looking forward to get physically diminished. Nothing seemed to have happened and I felt even better physically...its now been a few days and my dad is slowly getting better, I'm feeling good but really not like energy is being taken or some burden is being shared...What do you think can be done to make it actually work if something similar happens in the future ?
